The Chrysalis Program

We study and practice our professional skills and even our social skills. I have been always intrigued by how we don’t develop any skills before embracing parenthood. Of course, each child id unique and so will be the parenting approach for them. Parents struggle to make their children listen to their words of wisdom while sometimes mirroring the opposite behaviour themselves. Ralph Waldo Emerson, the prolific American philosopher, has been attributed the quote – who you are speaks so loudly that I can’t hear what you are saying. What changes should parents initiate in themselves to be good role models for their children? How should they communicate between themselves and with the children? What can they do to prevent childhood tantrums? How can they develop healthy habits in their children? These and many more in this program, ideally for both parents. This coaching protocol is designed from my journey as a parent and from that of parents around me. I have also added elements from the work of Shefali Tsabury. It has 10 core sessions which includes 1 session on how to form new habits. Additionally, there are sessions for monthly support.
